The Shrimala Trust is the name of the registered charity (UK no. 1078783) founded in 1998, which supports the activity of the Awakened Heart Sangha, the students studying under the guidance of Lama Shenpen Hookham. Offices for the Shrimala Trust are located in North Wales, near Lama Shenpen's Hermitage. The Awakened Heart Sangha (AHS) was formally inaugurated in 1999. The Awakened Heart Sangha is a mandala of students, teachers and supporters continually evolving around the core principle of Openness Clarity and Sensitivity and the path of Awakening for all beings.
